February can be cold, wet and windy. On this one stretch of road this afternoon I was amazed to find 20 plus dead umbrella’s
in garbage bins, as road kill, or discarded in the middle of the
sidewalk. On one occasion, seconds before I could pull out my camera to
snap a picture of a long grey umbrella sticking out of a bin, a couple
walked up, pulled the umbrella out of the bin, gave it the quick look
over, opened it up and walked off into the rain once again dry. So I
guess some umbrella’s can come back to life.
